Winning Children with a Vision for Harrow: July 11, 2007

When Harrow Council lay down the gauntlet for children to present their vision of the Harrow of tomorrow in art form, they were bowled over by the response:  Children had been asked to paint their future vision for Harrow as part of the Council’s Climate Change Day on Saturday 19 May, 2007.  On Friday, June 1, winners were awarded their prizes by Harrow’s Mayor, Councillor Jean Lammiman, selected from over 20 entries.

Harrow Residents to have a NICE day: June 10, 2007 

Residents of Harrow and Pinner are to have a NICE Day, thanks to an initiative by local eco-developer, ZEDHomes.  The NICE Car Company, which provides all-electric cars, scooters, and trucks for London, will join the developer at the Harrow Council ‘Greener Homes’ event at Pinner Community Centre on Sunday June 10, 2007, offering local families the chance to experience electric cars, trucks and scooters first hand.
