London - Technology supplier search engine, Conjungo, was officially launched today to radically reduce online search times for companies looking for local or specialist suppliers of business technologies.
Conjungo, from the Latin meaning ‘to unite’, already has well over 15,000 technology suppliers listed. It is set to become the first port of call for anyone trying to find business technology suppliers, particularly small and medium-sized business owners and managers with no IT resources, due to the way it dramatically speeds up and refines the search for ICT (information technology and communications) suppliers.
Infinity CCS has launched a ‘contact centre in a box’: 15-seat contact centre software for £10k, which includes inbound and outbound call/contact management, desktop scripting, automated dialling and blended CTI, agent reporting and timesheeting, call recording and quality monitoring.
“Although Infinity has been established for a decade, serving some of the most demanding contact centre environments in Europe,” said Founder and Managing Director, Carl Adkins, Infinity CCS, “we are still perceived as a high-end solution for outsourcers. This ‘Contact Centre in a Box’ offer will make those industry ‘crown jewels’ available for all contact centres, regardless of budget pressures.”
Conjungo (www.conjungo.com) is a technology supplier search engine where buyers can easily and quickly identify and shortlist IT, internet, software, wireless or telecoms suppliers. They use Conjungo to search for suppliers of technologies such as VoIP, security, business software, remote access, wireless, internet, networking, ERP, interactive whiteboards, telecoms, conferencing, CRM, etc.
UK-based Conjungo is the only place online where technology vendors can list their entire channel in an easily searchable format. This helps buyers find local or specialist resellers.
Vendors who have listed their entire channel include BT, Symantec, Citrix, Adobe, Progress Software, Wyse Technology, Netvoyager, Swyx Solutions, Gamma Telecom, Teleware Plc, Rostrvm Solutions, Mamut Software, Steljes, St Bernard, Hostway, Brocade, SMC Networks, and PGP Corporation.

The Best Western Calcot Hotel, known locally as ‘the Calcot’, kicked off the Wedding season in style with the announcement of a fantastic 15% off its Wedding Breakfasts when booked at the Calcot’s annual Wedding Fair (Sunday 24th February 2008).
With a famously warm atmosphere, experienced staff and top quality entertainment system, the conveniently located Calcot hotel is fully licensed to carry out marriage ceremonies, civil partnerships and the increasingly popular wedding vow renewals.
“The UK Contact Centre Operational Review (5th edition)”, a recent major study of over 200 contact centres, carried out by ContactBabel, has found that legislation curtailing outbound telemarketing has as yet made little impression on the overall volume of outbound calls being made.
Findings within the ‘Outbound and Call Blending’ chapter of the report, sponsored by Infinity CCS, show that proactive customer service - such as informing of delays and arranging deliveries - accounts for one-third of all outbound activity. Sales calls to existing customers make up 20% of outbound calls, with cold calling still accounting for 14% of activity.
As tribute fever grips the nation with the launch of the new BBC One prime-time show, ‘The One And Only’ hosted by Graham Norton, the legendary Best Western Calcot Hotel, known locally as ‘The Calcot’, has announced its 2008 star studded line-up of the pick of UK tribute acts.
Featuring award winning tributes to Take That, Elvis, Frank Sinatra, Robbie Williams and Rod Stewart, The Calcot is bringing singing superstars to Reading. In its own inimitable style, the Calcot provides not only the cream of tribute acts, based on years of experience, but also a delicious three course meal with coffee, selected at the table, included within the ticket price.
One of Reading’s best loved and longest established privately owned hotels, The Best Western Calcot Hotel, has recently completed a series of improvements to enhance the experience for business clients.
Included in a comprehensive list of refurbishments is the introduction of Wi-Fi Internet facilities, new air conditioning and a new hotel lounge.
“We are well known for our amazing weekend entertainment programme” said hotel proprietor Ian Dunn. “Less known is that the hotel is also an increasingly popular venue for business travellers throughout the week and it is important that we continuously make improvements to keep pace with their expectations. Our recent investment programme is one of the biggest we’ve made.”
