Zed PR has appointed respected healthcare and consumer PR Consultant, Emma Owen.  Moving to Zed PR fresh from Alliance Boots where Owen was responsible for the national and regional PR roll-out of ‘Your Local Boots Pharmacy’ shops, she will be responsible for Zed PR’s growing portfolio of healthcare and wellbeing clients.

In addition to Alliance Boots, Owen’s healthcare clients have included Olay, Clairol, Johnson’s and Evian. With a solid consumer background, she also spend five years as the Press Officer for Madame Tussauds, managing celebrity wax sittings and the accompanying global PR campaigns.

Owen previously spent three years at the PR Manager of National Magazine Company responsible for constructing and delivering high impact PR campaigns for a variety of media including Cosmopolitan, Esquire, Zest, House Beautiful, Good Housekeeping and Company. She also managed the PR for events such as The Cosmopolitan Show, Country Living Fair, Company Bachelor Party and The Ideal Home Show.
