Young enterprise team (Edge 22) are holding the final of their ‘Pro Evolution’ tournament today, December 18. Edge 22’s MD is called Elizabeth Padden, and she has given the following answers on behalf of her team:
Q1: What are you and your team doing for Young Enterprise (i.e what product have you made/ service have you provided)
A: We are providing car washes for the staff at our school and a pro-evolution tournament for all students year 7 - 13 .
Q2: What is your company called and who came up with the name?
A: Our name is Edge22 and it was a group effort consisting of us thinking of random words and our door numbers!
Q3: How much money have you made?
A: So far we have made approximately 100 to 150 pounds just from the football tournament.
Q4: What have you learned from the experience?
A: We have learnt that it’s much harder to run a business than it looks!
Q5: What have you found the most difficult part of running a business?
A: the most difficult part was trying to fit the car washes into our school timetable and trying to work around the weather conditions.
Q6: What would you do differently next time?
A: Dedicate more time outside of our meetings
