International 2007 ICT Prize Press Conference: March, 16, 2007, 10:00 at CeBIT (Hannover, Germany) with the Public Ceremony starting at 11:00
Brussels/Paris/Hannover/London, 30 November 2006 - The closing date for the 2007 European Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) Prize falls on December, 4, 2006. The prize is the most distinguished award for innovative products and services that represent the best of European innovation in ICT. It provides public recognition and a highly visible profile to innovative companies that convert novel ideas into marketable products. The high standards of applicants and the competitive evaluation procedure make this prize the standard reference recognising major achievements in the ICT world of today.
The prize is given to new products and services with a high information technology content and evident market potential. Products should be at least at demonstrable prototype stage and if already marketed should have been introduced in the market after 15 April 2005. The European recognition that stands behind the nomination of both Nominees and Winners helps facilitate access to finance, markets and partnerships.
